Sunday, August 28th, death struck the local Flowertown Bee Farm in South Carolina. Hundreds of families killed from a gas attack in their community. Well, yeah, they were bees but come on that's a lot of bees that died. South Carolina... You were that scared of Zika that you designed a spray to kill mosquitoes leading to the death of 2.5 millions of bees. Not mosquitoes. You killed bees. The 2.5 million bees' blood are on your hands South Carolina. 2.5 million bees just gone. That's like 4,500 cups of honey. You have taken that honey from the American people. Shame on you. Shame on you, South Carolina. You know what really grinds my gears about this? The mixture of your fear and ignorance. This mixture is why people do shitty things to the environment. Do you think you can just get in your big planes and just drop a high concentrate of insecticide whenever you get scared? Well you did and fuck you for doing it. This chemical warfare must stop especially when bees are involved. Didn't you see The Bee Movie starring Jerry Seinfeld. Bees are important, dumb-asses. I mean come on! Bees are dying at an alarming rate, and if people don't start pulling their heads out of their asses (*cough, cough* Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) we, as a world, are going to be royally screwed. Bees are the backbone of our agricultural department (you know, what feeds us). With out bees life will begin to die. So stop being stupid and SAVE THE BEES. If you don't know why bees are important here is a video to help you... For more information on the Genocide of Bees (dibs on that band name) here is a great article on it: www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/09/01/like-its-been-nuked-millions-of-bees-dead-after-south-carolina-sprays-for-zika-mosquitoes/

It is so easy to forget about how important something as small as a bee is to our environment and to our world. The amount of humor, information, and urgency in this post completely entices me, and I will do my part to SAVE THE BEES! Keep up the great work Eco Friends!

Well said Jake. It is very true that today no one realizes the big impact bees have on our environment and this tends to be the reason for things such as spraying an insecticide because some people are scared of a mosquito bite. This post really showed the consequences of being ignorant of our environment
