A little about us...
What inspired us to choose this activity?
When my sister got into UC Berkeley, my family and I spent time there while visiting her. If you have ever been to Berkeley and Santa Clarita Valley, there is a mass difference between them. The second I stepped into the college neighborhood, I was shocked by the people caring about things that don't flash on the evening news. People, students were changing their lives because they simply just knew about things effecting the world. This made me think. From that day on I realized that SCV is a the worst. That my teachers and principals had to TELL us to pick up our trash. We are so disgusting and ignorant that we think that trash doesn't matter. "It's small. It won't hurt anything." It became a mantra of mine to say "pick it up" or "recycle that instead." My hatred of littering grew into my hatred of all things that destroy the environment. If it is providing a GMO-free gardening or anti-littering campaign or conserving/recycling, IT DOESN'T MATTER! I am trying to simply educated. |

What is our personal investment in this activity?
I refuse to be a bystander to the lazy, the ignorant, and the assholes who are letting the planet waste away. Why am I invested into educating people and myself on the earth? Maybe because I live on fucking earth. Maybe I get pissed off easily Maybe I'm tired of the people in my town Maybe I'm tired of the people on this planet Trash didn't murder my father and now I'm looking for revenge I'm invested because I'm done and ready to tell people. |
What is our short term goal?
Well if you have to minimize our goals, we want to start a GMO free garden, implement more recycling, and shorten the amount of littering in this amazing town. |
What is our ultimate goal?
Simple. Stop killing the planet. |
